The Joint Information Systems Committee should set up a service to help institutions decide whether to invest in cloud computing services for research computing, a report submitted to the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council has said.
For its part, the EPRSRC should explicitly include cloud computing in its guidance for submitting proposals for funding for research computing.
