The Wellcome Trust has appointed six leading biomedical scientists from outside the UK to add to its panel that interviews candidates for investigator grants and senior-level fellowships.
The scientists were announced in a statement on 25 September. In addition, Nishi Chaturvedi, professor of clinical epidemiology at Imperial College London joins the panel as a co-chair alongside Royal Society president Paul Nurse and Deborah Smith, professor of molecular parasitology at the University of York.
