The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council is to refresh its long-term strategic plan, it announced on 24 January.
It says this will be a “light touch” refresh of its 2010 strategy, and will not lead to a change of strategic direction. The aim is to ensure that BBSRC “seizes emerging opportunities”.
A consultation on how to develop its research priorities is open until 20 March.
