The UK Science and Technology Facilities Council has said it will delay publication of its programmatic review progress report for 2012-13 until the final budget following the government's spending review for 2015-16 is known.
The STFC said that the council and its executive decided to withhold publication of the report, which outlines science priorities, until budget decisions for 2015-16 have been settled.
Publication of the review was originally planned for this autumn, but the council says a government decision to review the STFC’s funding for 2015-16 has caused a delay.
