BBC studies Scottish identity to shape election programming

Fifteen researchers have been chosen to take part in a workshop on Scottish identity to inform BBC programming in the run up to the referendum on Scotland's independence in 2014.

The workshop, run jointly by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the BBC, will take place in London on 26 April.

Of the participants, four are from the University of Glasgow, three are from the University of Edinburgh and a further three are from other universities in Scotland, the AHRC announced on 18 April.
