The Natural Environment Research Council has invited nominations for its Science and Innovation Strategy Board, the primary source of advice to the council on scientific matters.
The two-year appointments will begin in September 2015 and may be extended for a further two years. Applicants can nominate themselves or someone else.
Members of the board, who receive a small honorarium for their work, advise, among other things, on NERC’s integrated science strategy, the balance of its science portfolio, and new programmes and initiatives.
