The Medical Research Council has issued guidance for researchers investigating regenerative medicine technologies, which says it is aiming to support the “translation of fundamental discoveries towards benefits to human health”.
The guidance covers applications made to the regenerative medicine research committee, as part of the MRC’s biomedical catalyst funding stream, run in conjunction with Innovate UK.
The revised scheme launched on 4 February will fund preliminary work or feasibility studies to establish the viability of a particular approach.
