The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council is calling for researchers to help design next generation manufacturing in a £3.2-million funding call.
Funding will be provided for long-term proposals, speculative research, and applications focused on manufacturing outcomes, according to an EPSRC announcement. The council will accept bids for up to £2 million per proposal.
Research should focus on one of the EPSRC’s four research themes, which aim to tackle the main challenges that UK manufacturing faces.
