The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council has called on researchers to comment on its science strategy.
The council has identified three broad elements to its long-term plans, it announced on 31 August.
They are: people and talent, which is concerned with creating a research base with the relevant skills for modern bioscience; infrastructure, which aims to connect people working within the biosciences to the infrastructure and resources necessary to undertake research, as well as to support the commercialisation of research findings; and collaborations and partnerships, which aims to increase collaboration between industry and academia.
