NERC funds 17 doctoral training partnerships

About 235 PhD students a year will be able to study across 17 doctoral training partnerships funded by the Natural Environment Research Council.

A total of £100 million has been allocated to the partnerships over the next five years following a peer-reviewed application process, NERC announced on 10 October.

The studentships will be available over the course of five annual admissions, starting in the 2019-20 academic year.
