UKRI issues data-handling guidance in wake of GDPR

UK Research and Innovation has provided guidance for researchers struggling with the European Union’s rules on handling personal data.

“Although the new legislation has not been designed specifically for research, it is important that you, as researchers understand what GDPR means for you and the personal data that’s processed during your research,” UKRI said on 29 October.
