The Arts and Humanities Research Council is to fund innovative ways of increasing the impact of its research to boost development in low-income countries.
The AHRC announced on 24 April that is gearing up to launch a funding call later this year under its Follow-on Funding for Impact and Engagement Scheme, which receives funding from the Global Challenges Research Fund.
The council said it planned to invite researchers to submit collaborative proposals worth up to £100,000, for periods up to 12 months maximum. Project should aim to boost the impact of AHRC-funded research, including projects funded under the GCRF and the Newton Fund. Development organisations in lower-income countries should participate in the proposals, the AHRC said.
