The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council has named the 12 senior academics and businesspeople who will help the funder pick its future priorities.
The members of the EPSRC’s Strategic Advisory Network will make recommendations to the funder’s governing council.
They include Veronica Bowman, a mathematician at the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute; Edmund Burke, deputy vice-chancellor of the University of Leicester; Nishan Canagarajah, pro vice-chancellor for research and enterprise at the University of Bristol; and Andy Crabtree, a computer scientist at the University of Nottingham.
