UK Research and Innovation has named the 11 members of the advisory group that will help the funder to boost equality, diversity and inclusion.
The list includes representatives from universities, the NHS, the Cabinet Office and industry, and will be chaired by Jennifer Rubin, who serves as UKRI’s executive champion for equality, diversity and inclusion. Rubin is also executive chairwoman of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
“The membership of the External Advisory Group spans a range of sectors and career stages, and its collective experience and expertise will be invaluable in shaping UKRI’s development of an ambitious, long-term strategy for equality, diversity and inclusion,” Rubin said.
