The research centre is no longer a subsidiary of the Natural Environment Research Council
The Centre for Ecology and Hydrology has severed ties with UK Research and Innovation, re-launching as a not-for-profit company with charitable status.
The research centre, which performs long-term environmental monitoring, previously came under the Natural Environment Research Council, part of UKRI.
