ESRC funds two international projects on governance

The Economic and Social Research Council has awarded a total of £3.5 million to two international projects focusing on trust and global governance.

The winning bids include a project on trust and trustworthiness in national and global governance led by the University of Southampton in collaboration with Harvard University, in the United States, and the Universities of Sydney and Canberra, in Australia.

The second project will look at inequality and governance in unstable democracies and will be led by the Institute of Development Studies, based at the University of Sussex, the ESRC said.
