The Economic and Social Research Council has named a further 21 experts who will provide the funder with support and advice.
The new members took up their appointments on 1 April, the ESRC said in a statement on 4 April.
They include: Ann Berrington, a professor of demography and social statistics at the University of Southampton; statistician Simon Briscoe, now an independent consultant; and Andrew Jones, vice-president of research and enterprise at City University London.
