Applicants now have until 20 January to apply for role of chief executive officer
UK Research and Innovation has extended the application deadline for the role of chief executive officer following the resignation of Mark Walport.
Walport, who was appointed in 2017 to form and lead the umbrella agency for the UK’s research councils and the Innovate UK funder, announced on 12 September that he would step down at some point in 2020.
