UKRI committee to oversee research integrity investigations

       

The funding agency’s Research Integrity Committee is expected to be established by summer 2020

UK Research and Innovation has announced plans to create a committee to champion research integrity and to “independently examine” whether institutions are investigating misconduct properly.

The move comes as the academic community is grappling with an insecure and stressful work environment, and with many key organisations pledging to improve research culture.
