Universities call for clarity on fate of grants funded by aid spending amid looming cuts
The Russell Group of research-intensive universities has written to the national funding agency seeking urgent clarity over cuts to research funded through international aid money, which were first revealed by Research Professional News.
The move follows news of a £120 million shortfall in UK Research and Innovation’s 2021-22 allocations of Official Development Assistance, following government cuts to the ODA.
