Reik, a professor of epigenetics, has held the position of acting director since May 2020
The Babraham Institute of life sciences has appointed a new director following the death of its former director Michael Wakelam from respiratory complications related to suspected Covid-19.
Wolf Reik is a professor of Epigenetics at the University of Cambridge, and has been an acting director of the Cambridgeshire-based institute since May 2020, following Wakelam’s death.
