New Zealand’s former chief scientist to head “impressive” international group on future of evaluating research
The UK’s national funding agencies have appointed a high-level “stellar” group of scientists, chaired by the former chief science adviser to New Zealand’s prime minister, to advise them on future research assessment.
Peter Gluckman, who is president-elect of the International Science Council, will lead the advisory group to the Future Research Assessment Programme and report back by late 2022 to the UK’s four higher education funding bodies.
