UK gets national data hub for mental health research

   

Medical Research Council-funded Datamind will bring together disparate data to “transform” understanding of mental health

The Medical Research Council has invested £2 million in a national data hub for mental health research in partnership with Health Data Research UK.

The Datamind hub will bring together a number of data sources, including health records, schools and administrative data, charity data, research trials, genomics, longitudinal studies and cohort data, UK Research and Innovation announced on 13 May.
