UK to get research integrity committee


Committee will be tasked with promoting research integrity but won’t have authority to investigate institutions

The public research funder UK Research and Innovation is to launch a new committee aimed at boosting research integrity.

The UK Committee on Research Integrity will be hosted by the funder for three years as a free-standing committee, with recruitment for the group’s chair and members set to take place in the coming months, the funder said on 15 July.
