Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council head wants diversity in ideas, expertise and teams
The boss of the UK’s national funder of biological research has said it “must embrace diversity” in ideas, expertise, teams and opportunities.
For UK bioscience to flourish, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council must use a range of approaches and is “keen” to develop more interdisciplinary opportunities, according to its executive chair, Melanie Welham.
