Funder outlines “principles for change” and six objectives for an “outstanding research and innovation system”

A five-year plan outlining UK Research and Innovation’s ambitions has emphasised the need for diversity, and support for people and careers, to make the UK a “top destination” for talent.

UKRI’s 2022-27 strategy outlines six strategic objectives for the national research funder, all prefaced with “world-class”: people and careers; places; ideas; innovation; impacts; and organisation.
