Partnership with AIRTO means UKRI can approve applications for research organisations outside public sector
Eighteen more UK research organisations have been added to the list of hosting institutions for the Global Talent visa, which enables international researchers to work in the UK.
The Global Talent visa route was introduced in February 2020. The national funding agency UK Research and Innovation can endorse foreign researchers applying for visas if they are supported by an approved funder and are working for an approved organisation.
