Number of SMEs working in AMR field has decreased in recent years, MPs told
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council is “failing” to convert antimicrobial-resistance science into industry, one of its reviewers has told MPs.
Peter Jackson, who reviewed BBSRC’s funding in AMR, said only nine companies working in the field had come out of the research council’s investments in the past 10 years.
