Funder moves webinar, interview and closing dates after academics question “integrity” of call
National funder UK Research and Innovation has rescheduled key dates for a £4.5 million funding call to lead an equality, diversity and inclusion caucus, following complaints from academics.
Sam Giles, a senior research fellow at the University of Birmingham, and Rachel Oliver, a professor of materials science at the University of Cambridge, wrote to the funder to complain about the timing and framing of the call, which was published on 9 June.
