New approach to focus on “distinct, disruptive or interdisciplinary activity”, says funder
The Medical Research Council is adopting a new “long-term, challenge-led” approach to the way it funds its units and centres.
The new approach will focus on “distinct, disruptive or interdisciplinary activity” with the potential to achieve success within 10 to 15 years, the funder announced on 18 July.
