Research councils unveil delivery plans for next three years

Seven research councils and Innovate UK publish objectives for the current spending period

Eight of UK Research and Innovation’s nine councils have set out how they will spend their portion of the national funder’s £7.9 billion annual budget.

On 2 September, UKRI’s six research councils, together with the innovation agency Innovate UK, published their strategic delivery plans, explaining the role each council would play in delivering the funder’s wider mission and vision during the three-year spending period.
