Open letter objects “in strongest terms” to funder’s suspension of equality, diversity and inclusion group
An open letter from grantees of UK Research and Innovation is heavily criticising how the funding agency is handling a row over its equality, diversity and inclusion advisory group.
The letter, open for signatures until Monday, says the signatories “object in the strongest terms” to the agency suspending the work of its newly established equality, diversity and inclusion advisory group, after the secretary of state for science, innovation and technology demanded it be shut down.
