Research council executive chair will be long-serving outlier amidst wholesale leadership change at UKRI
Christopher Smith will continue for a further two years as head of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the national funder UK Research and Innovation has announced.
Smith (pictured) started as executive chair of AHRC in 2020 and is a classics professor at the University of St Andrews.
