Science and Technology Facilities Council upgrading supercomputing centre dedicated to industry engagement
The UK’s Science and Technology Facilities Council has signed a deal with computing company Lenovo for what it described as a “powerful” new supercomputer.
Unveiled on 26 March, the agreement with the Chinese-American company is for the computer to be installed at STFC’s Hartree Centre, which is dedicated to industry engagement.
