Hubs aim to address the “challenge” of commercialising early-stage research within the sector
National funder UK Research and Innovation has launched five hubs to boost the use of R&I in the manufacturing sector.
Supported by £55 million from the funder, the hubs will aim to address the “challenge” of commercialising early stage research in manufacturing, UKRI said. It also hopes the hubs will help improve sustainability in the sector.
