RPN confirms departure of Kate Sang, who was paid damages over allegations by science secretary

The academic who was paid damages in a libel case against science secretary Michelle Donelan has resigned as an adviser to Research England, Research Professional News has confirmed.

Kate Sang, a professor at Heriot-Watt University, was a member of Research England’s expert advisory group on equality, diversity and inclusion.
