The vice-chancellors’ umbrella group, Universities UK, is to hold an event on the risks and responsibilities of deregulating higher education on 28 November in London.
UUK said that the conference aimed to identify the risks and responsibilities of deregulation. It was important to strike a balance between recognising the benefits and opportunities of deregulation while protecting the quality and reputation of UK higher education, it said.
