Manchester and Elsevier team up on text-mining tool

The University of Manchester is to work with scientific publisher Elsevier to develop text-mining applications for research.

Manchester’s National Centre for Text Mining will work with the publisher on applications for extracting semantic metadata from text—a method used increasingly in research.
