Jobs for graduates show small rise

The percentage of graduates finding employment has risen for the first time since the beginning of the financial crisis, figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency have shown.

According to HESA, some 63 per cent of people graduating with a first degree were employed in 2009-10, while 7 per cent were in a combination of employment and study and 16 per cent were in further study only.
