By 2040 the UK may see a shift towards private models of research, a report from the vice chancellors’ group, Universities UK, has said.
“Futures for Higher Education: Analysing Trends”, published on 26 January, uses scenario planning work by vice-chancellors in UUK’s Longer Term Planning Network to look at higher education up to 2040.
