‘Too early’ to assess impact on London Met, says Willetts

It is “still too early to assess the detailed financial impact” of the revocation of London Metropolitan University’s licence by the UK Border Agency, science and universities minister David Willetts said on 19 October.

In a Commons written answer, Willetts said that the university is developing financial plans for 2012-13 and beyond, and that these plans will be shared with the Higher Education Funding Council for England when it is possible to assess the financial impact on the university.
