Discovery Park, the former Pfizer site in Kent, has been given Enterprise Zone status.
A spokeswoman for the park, which is under redevelopment and intends to provide employment for around 2,400 people, said it is in discussion with “a number of international academic institutions, universities and research organisations with a view to attracting them to the site”.
