UK universities continue to attract Asian students

Chinese and Indian students accounted for 35 per cert of all non-EU students at UK universities in 2010-11, figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency show.

The data, released on 23 February, show that the number of students from China rose 18 per cent from the previous year. The biggest rise was in students from Saudi Arabia, at 23.1 per cent.
