The Higher Education Policy Institute has published a report on higher-education myths by David Watson, professor of higher education at the University of Oxford.
One of these “category mistakes”, he says, is university performance. Watson argues that higher education should be analysed in terms of disciplines, courses or fields rather than in terms of institutions.
