UCL sets out research misconduct guidelines

University College London has released a set of governance policies and procedures outlining expectations for the conduct of research and action to be taken in the event of potential misconduct.

The report, published on 13 September, was prompted by the General Medical Council’s finding that the discredited doctor, Andrew Wakefield, was guilty of misconduct in his research into a link between the MMR vaccine and autism.
