Twelve university departments have been awarded the prestigious title of Regius professor by the Queen to mark the Diamond Jubilee, bringing the total to 19.
Four of the departments named in the 29 January announcement are at London universities—engineering at Imperial College London; economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science; music at Royal Holloway, University of London; and psychiatry at King’s College London.
