A group of 11 UK universities has been awarded the HR Excellence in Research award by the European Commission.
Imperial College London, the universities of Warwick and Ulster, and Coventry, Nottingham Trent, and Sheffield Hallam universities have all received the badge, which recognises commitments to improving career development and working conditions for researchers.
