China is to establish its fifth Scottish Confucius Institute, the first to specialise in business and communication, at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
The institute will help Scottish companies learn Chinese and engage with China.
The move builds on Heriot-Watt’s China strategy, which seeks to foster research collaborations with China, and will see an undergraduate degree in International Business Management and Chinese Language launched at the university in 2014.
