The School of Advanced Study at the University of London should continue to receive funding from the Higher Education Funding Council for England, an advisory panel has recommended.
In a review published on 1 February, members of HEFCE’s advisory panel say that HEFCE funding for the school should be maintained at the current level and “consider that 10 per cent of its funding should be subject to review on an annual basis; and consider that a strategic advisory group should be established”.
