A drug-development research centre to tackle diseases in poorer countries is to be set up at the University of Dundee.
The announcement was made by the Wellcome Trust, which is funding the centre jointly with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The centre will receive £6.5 million over five years and will create 11 posts.
